Click Crusaders
The ritual has failed. The undead hordes are coming... can you click your way to salvation?
This game was made for a quick game jam, I ran out of time to make tooltips so here is some game info and lore if you are into that.
Lore, Units and Items
It has been 50 years since the King has died. Believing him divine, the crown was passed on to the Church after his death. Plagues, famine, and natural disasters have ravaged the once prosperous nation, leading to growing dissention among the people.
On the 48th anniversary of his death, a tremendous quake rocked the capitol during the annual ceremony, a monument falling and killing the three reigning High Priests. That evening, a violet comet streaked across the night sky.
Convinced this was a divine message, the King outraged at the Church's failings, they worked feverishly to study the once outlawed practice of blood magic. Untold horrors and atrocities were committed throughout the capitol and beyond in the name of resurrecting the King. Blood spattered violet capes fluttered through the streets in search of the next sacrifice.
On the brink of civil war, the city in flames, the priests locked themselves in the Grand Temple of the Capitol and performed a massive blood ritual. The ritual failed to resurrect the king but was strong enough to open a swirling rift to the unknown. The Grand Temple crumbled in on itself, leaving only a shimmering hole in the ground.
A skeletal hand reaches out and pulls itself out of the hole. The undead hordes are coming. You may not be the good guys, but you are humanity's last hope.

Note: I added an easy mode in case someone enjoys the game but finds it too difficult. I did not have time to balance test it, I just adjusted a lot of the enemy scaling. Hope someone finds it fun!

This was really fun. I'd love to see a fuller game or a sequel to this!
